There are moments when God doesn’t ask you to figure it out.

He doesn’t ask you to predict what happens next.
He doesn’t ask you to carry tomorrow.
He doesn’t ask you to understand every delay, every closed door, or every unanswered question.

Sometimes His invitation is simply:

Be still.

“Be still, and know that I am God.”
— Psalm 46:10

There is something powerful about that word KNOW.

Not hope that He is God.
Not wonder if He is working.
Not wait until you see evidence.

KNOW.

Know that when you cannot see the road ahead, He can.

Know that when the night feels dark, He still holds the Light.

Know that when you don’t understand the chapter you’re living, the Author already knows how the story ends.

That is what the lantern represents in this painting. 🕯️

We often want God to illuminate the entire road ahead of us.

But sometimes He gives us enough light for one step.

And then another.

And another.

And before we realize it, the same presence that carried us through yesterday has become the Golden Thread leading us into tomorrow. ✨

And I love the promise of Psalm 32:8:

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will guide you with My eye.”

Maybe tonight you don’t need another answer.

Maybe you don’t need to solve anything.

Maybe you simply need to remember:

Your story is safe in His hands.
Your future is secure in His plan.
Your heart can rest in His presence.

He has not lost sight of you.

He has not forgotten what He promised.

And He has not stopped painting.

So tonight…

Put down what you’ve been carrying.

Quiet the questions.

Release tomorrow.

And be still.

Because the Painter is still holding the brush. 🎨✨
