ONE WORD: RELEASE
MAYBE YOU’VE CARRIED IT LONG ENOUGH.
The hurt.
The disappointment.
The conversation you keep replaying.
The mistake you wish you could undo.
The weight of something that happened years ago but somehow still follows you into today.
At some point, you have to ask: Is carrying this changing what happened… or is it only changing me? Release doesn’t mean it didn’t matter. It doesn’t mean it didn’t hurt. It doesn’t mean what happened was okay. It means you’ve decided it will no longer have permission to occupy the space where your peace belongs. Some things cannot come with you into the next chapter.
Open your hands. Give God what you were never meant to carry forever and make room for what comes after letting go.
Peace. Freedom. Healing. Something new. Maybe you’ve carried it long enough. RELEASE.

HOW HEAVY IS YESTERDAY?
Sometimes we carry things so long that we forget we’re carrying them. The conversation ended months ago… but you’re still replaying it.The disappointment happened years ago… but you’re still revisiting it.
The decision has already been made… but you’re still asking yourself,“What if I had done something differently?”Regret is heavy. So are the what ifs. So are the should haves and none of them can change what already happened.
At some point, you have to decide whether yesterday gets to keep taking strength from today. You learned from it. You grew through it. You survived it. Now maybe it’s time to stop carrying it.
You were never meant to walk into your future with your past strapped to your shoulders. Put it down. Give it to God. Discover how different the road feels when you’re no longer carrying something you cannot change. RELEASE. Yesterday happened but you don’t have to keep carrying it.
SOME THINGS AREN’T YOURS TO FIX.
That can be one of the hardest truths to accept because when you care, you want to make it better. You want to fix the situation… Change their mind… Repair what was broken… Control how the story ends but there are some things God never placed in your hands.
Not every outcome is yours to control.
Not every person is yours to change.
Not every relationship is yours to rescue.
Not every closed door is yours to reopen.
Sometimes we exhaust ourselves carrying responsibilities that were never ours and maybe God isn’t asking you to try harder. Maybe He’s asking you to open your hand.
Release the person.
Release the outcome.
Release the need to know how everything turns out.
Release what you cannot control into the hands of the One who can.
There is incredible peace in finally saying:
“God, I’ve done what I can. The rest belongs to You.”
You don’t have to carry what God never asked you to carry.
RELEASE IT.

CAST IT. God never asked you to carry every worry until you figured out how to solve it. He said: “Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7 NKJV
That means the fear you’ve been carrying… The person you’re worried about… The situation you can’t control… The answer you still don’t have. The future you keep trying to predict.
Give it to Him and when you find yourself picking it back up tomorrow?Give it to Him again. Release isn’t pretending you don’t care.
It’s recognizing that you can deeply care about something without allowing it to become a weight you carry every waking moment. There are burdens too heavy for human shoulders. That’s why God invites you to place them on His. You were never asked to carry it alone.
Open your hands. Exhale and pray: “God, I give You what I cannot control. I give You what I cannot change. I give You what I cannot fix.
I trust You with what happens next.”
CAST IT. RELEASE IT. LET GOD CARRY IT.
OPEN YOUR HANDS.
Sometimes we ask God for what’s next while still holding tightly to what was… The old hurt… The old disappointment… The relationship that ended… The plan that didn’t work.
The version of life you thought you were supposed to have and we wonder why moving forward feels so difficult. Maybe it isn’t because God has nothing new for you. Maybe your hands are simply too full of yesterday to receive tomorrow.
Release doesn’t mean forgetting. It doesn’t mean what happened didn’t matter. It means saying:
“I will no longer hold onto this so tightly that I have no room for what God wants to place in my hands next.”
There are seasons when faith looks like holding on and there are seasons when faith looks like letting go. You cannot receive with a clenched fist. So loosen your grip. Release what was. Open your hands. And make room for what’s next. RELEASE.

YOU DON’T HAVE TO TAKE EVERYTHING WITH YOU.
Some things belonged to a chapter that has already ended. The disappointment… The unanswered questions… The need to understand why it happened… The need to control how it turns out.
Even the picture you had in your mind of exactly how life was supposed to go. Sometimes moving forward requires accepting that God may be writing something different and different doesn’t mean less.
You can release the plan without releasing your faith. You can release the outcome without releasing your hope. You can release what was without being afraid of what comes next. Because your story isn’t finished. God is still writing.
Maybe the next chapter requires something very simple from you: Open your hands. Stop carrying yesterday into tomorrow and make room for something you haven’t seen yet.
RELEASE. -What God is asking you to put down today does not have to follow you into tomorrow.
PUT IT DOWN.
You’ve carried it far enough. The worry… The guilt… The disappointment. The questions you still don’t have answers for. The outcome you keep trying to control. There comes a moment when faith says:
“God, this is too heavy for me. I’m giving it to You.” You don’t have to solve everything before you can have peace. You don’t have to understand everything before you can move forward and you don’t have to keep carrying something simply because you’ve carried it for a long time.
God can carry what you can’t. So put it down. Open your hands.Release the weight… And walk forward lighter than you came.
RELEASE.
Maybe this word found you because it’s finally time to let something go. And if someone came to mind while you were reading this… send this word to them.
